A Mid-December Update

The kids have written their letters to Santa, the stockings are hung, the tree is trimmed, and the kitten has been declawed. We are officially ready for Christmas!

Two weeks ago, Grandma took all the girls to the Festival of Trees Teddy Bear Breakfast.

Last weekend, we got our "cat proof" Blue Spruce. Now I'm not saying that it was falsely advertised, but it's not really cat proof. So we got the kitten declawed.

And this Saturday, the girls and I spent the night with my cousin, Coni, and her husband, Dan. Coni took us to the Rotary Winter Wonderland in Marshfield and it was amazing. I highly recommend you check it out if you live in the area. The girls helped Dan cut down their Christmas tree and also got to ride on the snowmobile.

So far, the first half of the month has been great. Now comes the agonizing wait for the 25th!

Don't you look cutie-patootie in your new coat, scarf, and recycled wool mittens. What a Christmas-tree cutting fashionista! :)
