For about a month now, I've suspected that Meredith may have a hernia. We had an appointment yesterday with a surgeon who confirmed my suspicions. She has an inguinal hernia, in the groin area on her right side. She will need surgery and it's been scheduled for the morning of Monday, February 4th. The doctor said it's a quick, 30 minute procedure but she will need to be put under with general anesthesia. The incision will be small and won't require any stitches and she may even be up and running around that same day.

Good thing you figured this out and can get it taken care of. I'll mark the 4th on the calendar so I can be praying for her through the surgery.
