Mid-July Update

Wow, this month is flying by! The kids have been very busy with three weeks of swimming lessons and another week of tennis lessons. And I have been working a ton (in preparation for my annual Shopping Spree Extravaganza with Shannon).

July started off with Meredith completing a week of safety school put on by the Wausau School District and the Wausau Police Department. It's for incoming kindergartners and it's called Safety City. Here she is with Officer Friendly, a local celebrity of sorts.

Next up was the 4th of July weekend. We spent Saturday morning with the cousins at the Independence Day Festival at Willow Springs Garden.

In the afternoon, we went to the pool.

And in the evening, we went back to Willow Springs Garden to watch the fireworks.

Last week we attended a Wisconsin Woodchucks baseball game. We usually go to one or two games a year. It's always fun to cheer for the Chucks, have some treats, and people watch. But all the kids want to do is find Woody!
