The Ice Cream Truck Cometh!

On Sunday evenings, right around supper time, you can hear the familiar tune (Ob-la-di, ob-la-da, life goes on, brah! Lala how the life goes on...) of the ice cream truck.

Problem is, from the time you first hear it to the time it arrives, it can take up to an hour.

In that hour, you'll never see a more patient group of neighborhood kids.

Will, Ava, Linnea, Meredith, Noah, and Allie wait patiently.

Show me the money!

Meredith and Noah will start kindergarten together in the fall.

Finally, she arrives and the kids run to meet her.

But ever the safe driver, she gives the kids a quick lesson in where they are supposed to wait..."ON THE CURB!"

"Whatever lady, just hand over the goods."

She explains to the kids which ones they can choose since most of their cheap parents have given them only $1.00. Will must have a bit of a wedgie from sitting and waiting so long.

"Do you want to trade?"

Great neighbors, fun friends, and ice cream on a hot summer evening.
